I have flat feet, which results in back/foot/leg pain and fatigue after standing still for long periods of time. I do have orthotic inserts for my shoes, but that doesn’t stop the pain.
What kind of medication could I talk to my doctor about regarding such an issue? Something that can relieve or possibly numb the pain but keep me coherent during extended periods of standing still? (like orthodox church services for example, which can last as long as 6 hours during the week of easter)

Can i use Fibromyalgia as a disability reason not to work?
I am wondering if someone has some experience in this matter, because from my understanding, this condition, fibromyalgia, is a tricky one. I have been diagnosed and apparently there is not a cure, just heavy medication (antidepressants, antiseizure, anxiety pills), that I have to be taking for the rest of my life (!!??). So, by any chance someone has any idea on how much a settlement would be with workers comp?
I stand on a hard floor for 8 hours a day (everyday) at work. By the time I go home my back is hurting so bad I find it hard to stand up-right and walk. Back belts are not allowed. Is there anything I can do to ease the pain while I’m working?
I am tired of going to doctor for my back pain, and having them just keep refering me to specialist. I need pain relief. Not back surgery! I have some old injury, but the biggest problem is probably a pinched nerve or something that is causing unreal pain.
